Wahlstrom wins EBU Title.

Finland:  Eva Wahlstrom (11-0-1, 3 KOs) Helsinki, Finland, won theEBU female super-featherweight title with a ten-round unanimous decision overDjemillaGontaruk (6-1) Charleroi, Belgium, by the one-sided scores (100-90 x 3).

Argentina:  Amanda Serrano (21-1-1, 16 KOs) Brooklyn, NY, won the WBO female lightweight title with a sixth round knockout of former champion Maria Elena Maderna (13-9-3, 2 KOs) Las Flores, Argentina. It was the fourth defense of the title for Maderna who held the strap in June 2013 with a majority decision victory over Enis Pacheco of Colombia. The 25-year-old Serrano wins a world title in her second weight class having previously held the IBF super-featherweight title.

Argentina: Soledad del Valle Frias (4-6-4, 2 KOs) San Luis, Argentina, wins by knockout in the third stanza against Marta Soledad Juncos (5-17-3). It was the sixth knockout loss for Juncos.

Canada: In an upset, Olivia Gerula (15-14-2) Winnipeg, Canada, knocks off Kaliesha West (16-2-3, 4 KOs) Moreno Valley, California, by unanimous decision (78-73/78-74/76-75). The outing was the first for West since October 2012. This bout was the headline of an all-female fight card that contained seven matches. Brenda Gonzales (4-1), Jennifer Santiago (4-0), Ashley Nichols (1-0), Judy Periera (1-0), Lita Mae Button (1-0) and Alicia Napoleon (1-0) won their respective matches. Napoleon took only 1:07 of the first round to stop her opponent.
