Austria – Eva “The Golden Baby” Voraberger, 114 ¾, won both the vacant IBO & GBU World female super-flyweight titles and retained the WIBF World title in the same weight class with an eight-round stoppage of former two-time WBO minimumweight champion Teeraporn Pannimit,115, of Thailand.
Voraberger, Vienna, improves to (20-4, 10 KOs) with the win whereas Pannimit drops to (20-9, 5 KOs) with the loss. It was the second stoppage loss for Pannimit. Impressively, Pannimit has challenged for world titles in five weight classes.
Spin: Voraberger is limited, but a victory over such an experienced challenger is impressive. Voraberger does not factor into the top five of the super-flyweight division and isn’t a serious challenge to the top of the division.
