Ikeyama TKO-6 Miyao


Nao Ikeyama, 101, retained her WBO World female atomweight title for the fifth time with a sixth round technical knockout of former WBA atomweight champion, Ayaka Miyao, 101 ¼. With the win, Ikeyama, Kyoto, improves to (18-5-2, 5 Kos) whereas Miyao, Tokyo, drops to (21-7-1, 5 KOs).

On the undercard, Yunoka Furukawa, 101 1/4, retained her WBA World female atomweight title with a ten-round, majority-decision over Mika Iwakawa, 101 1/2, by the scores (97-93/95-94/95-95). Furukawa, Tokyo, improves to (9-1-2, 6 KOs) and Iwakawa, Osaka, drops to (6-5-1, 2 KOs).

This card featured seven bouts, all female. Flyweight prospect Chaoz Minowa (3-0) won the vacant OPBF female flyweight title with an eight-round decision win over Carleans Rivas (5-4-3).
