On February 4 in Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico, Jackie Nava (32-4-3, 14 KOs) will return to action after a nearly two-year hiatus from the ring, against the ever-tough TBA. Nava, who will turn 37 in April, is on an eight-fight winning streak last losing in 2011 to all-time great Ana Maria Torres.
An all-time great in her own right, Nava, according to boxrec.com, is scheduled to battle ten, three-minute rounds against her yet to be named opponent.
Prior to her absence from the ring, Nava held the WBC and WBA World female super-bantamweight titles. The WBC belt is now attached to Fatuma Zarika (28-12-2, 16 KOs) and the WBA title is held by Liliana Palmera (27-11-2, 16 KOs).
